Leaving India...

I'm just thinking about switching to write my blog in english because I met a lot of foreign people in Fort Cochin and I want to share my impressions with them also.

I'm just using the internet at the laptop of a person I met at Bangalore airport and I'll take my flight to Hongkong in one hour. So I'm going to write again when I arrived at Hongkong.

So finally I got he chance to complete this post and tell you a bit more about my days in FORT COCHIN. Fort Cochin is a very beautiful, lovely and - what I really did not expect - silent place. But as this place is so beautiful, many backpackers come to see this place. At the beginning I did't like this or was at least thinking: "This is not the real India here". Indeed, you can find more authentic places in India but on the other hand it is a quite good experience to meet other open-hearted travellers from all over the world. A girl from Danmark told me, this is the reason, why some people call this place BACK-PAKISTAN. Indeed, there are a lot of cafes and bars all around there you can have a chat with nice people.

In spite of not getting an experience of the real India, I did some exciting activities there. I asked a fisherman to take me out to the sea on his little SKIFF.

Actually, this skiff did not have any life jackets... but although it was a little shaky, I came back safely. On my last day in Fort Cochin I followed the advice of Lachlan, an Australian guy I met there and went to a BARBIER to get a shave.
